Since the script dealt with Jerusalem being a pawn in an international scheme of blackmail, the actor asked me what I would say about the jewel in the crown of any negotiation for peace. To which I told the actor that I considered Jerusalem to be the same as the child King Solomon ruled over. That it could never be divided, but only given back to its true parent. Sure of my intent, the actor then said "Israel"?! To which I replied, "No. To God." I then went on to explain to him that I thought Jerusalem should be turned into a Vatican state run by all religions. That no flag should fly over this the holy of holiest-cities.

The actor then told me a story about two men who believed they owned the same land, and brought their dispute to a learned rabbi. Hearing the story, the Rabbi told the men that because they both had equal rights to the land, they must go to the land and ask Her to whom she belonged. And so they did. They went to the land and asked her to whom she belonged, to which she replied "I belong to no man... they belong to me." And on that, the actor told me that we both were in sync. That his belief and mine were the same. Jerusalem should belong to no nation, but to God. One City Under God. A beacon of hope from the city of hope.

And so I cast the actor, against everyone's wishes, and we included his story in the film along with mine. Of course none of this ever reached the screen, but ended up on the cutting room floor. And though the public never got to see this, the thought never left. And so I now put it out to you. Solve the issue of Jerusalem first, and the "Road To Peace" will not be an issue any more. One City Under God. Put it in your hearts -- on your lips. Shout it from the rooftops. Put it on bumper stickers. Help us force both sides to make it a reality, and you will soon see that the new city that rises from the ashes of this present conflict, will become a shinning light for the entire world.

ONE CITY UNDER GOD!

Those that fail to learn from history are condemened to repeating it. More vets committed suicide after coming home from Vietnam then were killed in action. And now it's happening again, except this time many of the vets coming home from Iraq have no home to go to, because its been repossessed. Did you also know that one out of four of every Vietnam vets went to prison? What do you think is going to be the end result of this war? Especially in this financial climate. The Vietnam years were boom years for American business. At least when those vets came home it wasn't a near depression. And its already started. Iraq vets are turning to crime to pay the mortgage, feed their families, stay alive.

Where is something in the 1.6 trillion dollars our government is going to spend for these vets? And don't give me the same old story, "we'll let the V.A. do it." These are the same guys that brought rats to Walter Reed. Why are we not freezing the mortgages of men serving in combat? Why are we not protecting the home fires of those willing to put their lives on the line for our safety? Well, it's because we're so busy saving the banks, and the Wall Street tycoons.

You want to see something emotionally moving about vet suicides? They should come first in our minds -- way before the banks, and the civilians that reached way beyond their means to get a loan they should never have been entitled to. No! Everyone doesn't deserve a piece of the American dream. That takes work! What they do deserve is the right to dream, and the opportunity to make that dream come true.

Go to Youtube. Get Mad. And do something about it.

the triumph of light over dark, man over death. God has always been
depicted as Light. Light was the first thing that was reported seen in
the tomb of Christ after the resurrection. When someone dies they talk
about going into the light. Bathed in the light of free will, that free

go from light to darkness and then must return to the light. The road
from free choice to darkness or light is a road we all must take. We
