John Marks, a former 60 Minutes producer, is the author of three novels and a work of non-fiction. His most recent book, Reasons To Believe: One Man's Journey Among The Evangelicals And The Faith He Left Behind, was named one of the Best Books of 2008 by Publishers Weekly. His most recent novel, Fangland, a version of the Dracula story set in the world of net work news, has been optioned for the movies by Hilary Swank. He is the co-producer with Craig Detweiler of the film Purple State Of Mind and blogs regularly at www.purplestateofmind.com.
